It wasn’t long ago that the American rapper, singer and songwriter that is Lil Uzi Vert took to social media in order to state that he won’t be releasing any music in the future.
However, now that he has seemingly resolved the battle he was having with his record label, Generation Now, and moving to a new one, JAY-Z’s Roc Nation, the young creative has come out swinging with a new track and its respective video, fittingly titled ‘Free Uzi’. Now, although the new song doesn’t shed any light on his management situation specifically, the title does appear to be making a slight jab at disagreement he and DJ Drama and Don Cannon’s label had.
