Last April the renowned American rapper and activist that is Meek Mill was released from a controversial jail sentence, consequently, the artist turned his attention to creating a docuseries in which he, the journalist Paul Solotaroff, the filmmaker Isaac Solotaroff, Amazon Prime, Roc Nation and The Intellectual Property Corporation will aim to highlight the issues embedded in America’s current justice system, specifically, long-term probation.
As for what the details are, the six-part series will hinge around what it was like for Meek to periodically switch from the life of a prisoner to that of a international rap star as his career developed, all the while trying to educate viewers on the intricacies of the his legal troubles and whereabouts the injustices lay in the system.
