The mixed martial arts champion that is Conor McGregor not long ago broke records when he expanded his career by founding and selling out of what has become one of the most highly sought-after Irish whiskeys ever.
Specifically, his whiskey brand, Proper No. Twelve took Ireland and the U.S. by storm after selling out of their six months supply within the first 10 days of release. Consequently, McGregor had to issue an apology before air-freighting 25,000 cases into the USA just in time for the holidays. Now, of course, with such an incredible release in these two countries, those from other corners of the globe were waiting patiently to find out when the drink would be arriving near them.
Well, if you are one of those people and you just so happen to be based in the UK then you are in luck as the beverage has just touched down on British soil. As for what to expect, a blend of fine golden grain and single malt was used at the oldest distillery on the isle of Ireland to create what is said to be a complex and sophisticated, yet smooth and approachable drink that boasts hints of vanilla, honey-like sweetness and toasted wood.
