The iconic footwear manufacturer and retailer that is Dr. Martens recently joined forces with the renowned and rapidly-growing label, Pleasures, in order to drop a variety of revamped silhouettes.
As for what to expect, the duo have looked to utilize a number of distinct punk and grunge aesthetics with Dr. Martens’ popular formal style, consequently, a collection consisting of street and concert-ready footwear and apparel has been created.
Specifically, a T-shirt, socks, and two pairs of signature shoes arrive in the collection, with the footwear taking the form of the Quad Retro and a 1461. The first of which rocks patterns inspired by late ’90s anti-establishment music, using studs and checkerboard laces to make their point. As for the 1461, it lands boasting an open-jawed white teeth graphic as well as text reading “NOW” printed on the heel.
