Travis Scott's latest collaboration with Nike has created what has arguably become the most anticipated pair of sneakers this year, hence why it was so surprising to hear that the duo has already dropped the pair, and if you blinked, you probably missed it.
As for what took place, as the American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer that is Travis Scott took to the stage at the GRAMMYs, the global sportswear brand, Nike, actually dropped the pair via their SNKRS app. Despite this untraditional drop the pairs reportedly sold out in less than a minute so even if you knew about the release you would have had a hard time copping a pair, although that’s not surprising given the amount of hype that surrounded these sneakers. Furthermore, if you missed the drop then, unfortunately, you likely won’t have much of a chance to cop it afterwards as resell prices are currently hovering around the price of £1250.
