The plant-based lifestyle has undeniably taken off during 2018, hence why it’s no surprise to hear that Carl’s Jr. has teamed up with the renowned vegetarian-food manufacturer, Beyond Meat, in order to launch the meat-free “Beyond Famous Star Burger.”
As for what to expect from the newly-introduced meal, a charbroiled quarter-pound 100% plant patty sits beneath a layer of American cheese while dill pickles, lettuce, tomato, sliced onions, special sauce and mayonnaise all make an appearance between the seeded buns. All in all the duo promise to provide the same satisfaction as a traditional burger but with no GMOs, gluten, soy and even less saturated fat.
