It wasn’t long ago that the German automobile manufacturer that is Porsche revealed their latest car which is designed to go head-to-head with Elon Musk’s Tesla as a fully electric high-performing car. However, since news spread of the automobile many were wondering what exactly it’s going to set you back, luckily that information has just been revealed.
As for what we have found out about the car, thanks to Alex Roy, a contributor to The Drive, took to Twitter to share a message he received from a “Brand Ambassador” representing his local Porsche dealership. Specifically, in the message we see that Alex was offered the Porsche Taycan in a variety of iterations, the Tayvan, Taycan 4S or the Taycan Turbo, with these versions setting you back “low $90,000”, “high $90,000” and “over $130,000” respectively.
As for the car itself, the Taycan is set to produce over 600 horsepower, accelerate from 0-60 mph in under 3.5 seconds and have a range of around 300 miles. Although this doesn’t quite match the rumoured specifications of Tesla’s upcoming Roadster, it will also feature a long list of driver-assistance features like an autonomous mode, and will actually charge up significantly faster than any of Tesla’s current models.
