After their first movie became an undeniable success, The Intent 2 was naturally going to come our way given time. However, no one predicted just how far the cast and crew were going to push their boundaries when doing so.

Specifically, the London-based storyline was deepened as it followed Jay – played by Ghetts – have his ambitions crippled by his allegiance to both his crew and Hackney crime boss/mother-figure Beverley – played by Sharon Duncan-Brewster. Consequently, Jay decides to start laying the foundations for his own organised crime ring with the help of Mustafa – played by Adam Deacon. This is before things go off the rails due to rivalries, one of which is with two gang members played by the UK rappers, Krept & Konan. This is all taking place as Beverley discovers his disloyalty and organises what could be a suicide mission for Jay and his crew in Jamaica. All the while, their actions are being monitored by an undercover Met Police officer, Gunz, who is played by Dylan Duffus.
