After dropping his much-loved album titled ‘Common Sense’ last year, the 23-year-old London rapper has found meteoric success and even performed at the BRITs. However, this year it looks like to creative hasn’t had as much go his way as in June he was pulled over near the Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford and was found to be carrying a 10cm folding knife.

This, of course, wouldn’t go down well in court, however, after already being arrested outside Westfield following a “mass attack” on four people – which ended in one of them being stabbed – and being released on bail after chasing a man down the road outside Westfield with three or four other people, “brandishing a large combat knife or a machete,” it became a much more serious matter.

In fact, the rapper’s many offences are thought to be down to gang relations as he has had many run-ins with individuals in the Newham area and even moved to his family to Peterborough to avoid any violence affecting them. However, due to his actions earlier this year he has been sentenced to eight months in prison. J Hus himself said during the trial that he “fully accepted his actions were careless” adding “I’m deeply sorry and regret my foolish actions.”
