COMME des GARÇONS CDG has teamed up with the iconic American manufacturer of skateboarding shoes and related apparel that is Vans in order to drop yet another collaborative sneaker. This time with the Authentic model being the silhouette of the collaboration’s choice.
Specifically, the duo’s revamp of the classic shoe sees a barrage of black “CDG” branding printed repeatedly across the entire white canvas upper. From here the sneaker rounds its design off via the appearance of a singular rubber “CDG” that sits upon the center of the toecap. As for the pair’s build, the canvas upper sits on top of a white midsole and cupsole in order to increase the shoe’s stark and high-contrast aesthetic.
The pair are set to drop via CDG’s Japan retailers on the 27th of October.
