The London based singer, songwriter, musician and record producer, Sampha, has this week released a new track which is to contribute to the soundtrack for the upcoming film ‘Beautiful Boy’ which saw it’s UK premiere at the London Film Festival yesterday. The track, which is titled ‘Treasure’ is the artist’s first song since the release of his 2017 debut album ‘Process’ which featured his most well-known songs such as ‘Timmy’s prayer’ and ‘Blood on me.’

Interestingly, the previously-mentioned album saw the creative win a Mercury music prize in September 2017, and upon accepting the prestigious award, Sampha took a moment to thank his parents, stating: “I’d like to dedicate this award to my parents,” adding “They came over from Sierra Leone and just wanted to give us the best life possible.”  Now, a year later, the artist makes a return to contribute to the soundtrack for Timothée Chalamet’s latest movie, which is based on the memoirs of father and son David and Nick Sheff.
