The Jamaican retired sprinter and world record holder in the 100 metres, 200 metres and 4 × 100 metres relay, Usain Bolt, has recently turned his hand to football and has done so in impressive fashion. Specifically, the athlete helped Australia’s A-League Central Coast Mariners achieve a 4-0 victory against Macarthur South West United in his first full-length football match.

As for what he did for the team, Bolt found himself putting away two goals, the first in the 54th minute and the second being in the 68th. Following the first goal, the nine times Olympic gold medallist, of course, brought out his world-famous lightning bolt celebration before turning to Blocboy JB‘s shoot dance after scoring his second.

Usain Bolt himself had this to say about the match: “it was a good feeling because this is what I’ve worked towards. I tried to get better, I tried to improve myself, and I’m on the way to doing that.” Take a look at his two goals below and stay tuned for more updates regarding the athlete.
