What pushed you to start up a label?

We’re a group that has been involved within the fashion and creative industry for over 10 + years. The birth of La Familia came out of the things, people and spaces that make up the Californian way of life.

What made you chose family as the focus point of the brand?

Family is really important to us as a brand, as it can encompass so many different meanings outside of its traditional meaning. Your Family can become those you work side by side with on a daily basis and even those that you may see every couple of years, but the relationship is strong and those ideals are what we try and have resonated throughout the brand DNA.

How would you describe LA FAMILIA?

“Family first.”

What are your biggest influences?

“Always, Family.”

What sets LA FAMILIA apart from the rest?

“We strive to just be us.”

What’s your favourite LA FAMILIA piece?

“As of right now, the entire “Family” & “Honor” collections are some of the staff favourites.”

What inspired you to run with the aesthetic LA FAMILIA currently has?

“The things, people and events that happen around us are really at the root of all that we do.”

If LA FAMILIA could inspire one thing in its fans, what would it be?

“Family and honour are what matters most.”

So what’s next for LA FAMILIA?

“We’ve got quite a bit planned with some new partnerships and ambassadors aligning with the brand. This Fall/Winter 2018 campaign will be exciting, stay tuned!”
