The late New York-based artist, Keith Haring, was a pop art and graffiti-esque creative whose work blew up on the street culture scene during the 1980s, and for good reason. Well, the reason why he is making headlines 18 years after his death is that his largest existing piece of art in Europe is now back on display.  Specifically, during the beginning of his career Haring produced a huge scale mural in Amsterdam as a gift to the lower-income area, it was finished in 1982 but was unfortunately boarded up to preserve climate control soon after.

However, the good news is that after 30 years and endless lobbying from city locals, the art was unveiled during a press conference at the city’s Markt Kwartier, allowing the public to once again appreciate his talents in full.
