The British online fashion and beauty shop, ASOS, have recently received widespread praise for using a plus-sized model with minimal, if any, photo editing. Specifically, the model who was wearing a red pleated maxi dress by Missguided Plus has visible rolls of fat on her back and many have supported the retailer for not removing them. Plus-size influencer Callie Thorpe was the first to draw attention to the image as she tweeted a picture of the dress and the model within it, alongside the image was a caption showing love to ASOS for making many women feel like their “bodies are normal.”
