The Los Angeles-based band, The Internet, have been on a roll – no pun intended – recently as they have dropped a line of solo projects such as “Roll (Burbank Funk)” and its KAYTRANADA remix. However, it looks like they are set to release something with a little more substance as The Internet announced on Sway In The Morning that they have been working on an album titled ‘Hive Mind’ that is set to arrive on the 20th of July.
Specifically, during the interview Matt Martians (a member of the band) had this to say on the matter: “A hive mind is a collective ego. When people are together they have a collective mindset. When we’re together we all have a common goal and we move in the same direction. The actual internet is a hive mind, too.”
