Compton’s very own rapper, songwriter and all-around creative, Kendrick Lamar is set to become the latest figure to receive an analytical lookover from Pitchfork contributor and Bandcamp senior editor, Marcus J. Moore.
Specifically, Moore announced via Twitter that the rapper is set to receive a cultural biography titled ‘The Butterfly Effect: How Kendrick Lamar Ignited the Soul of Black America’ and aims to outline and bring light to just how Lamar was able to “rise to rap superstardom” and use that status for the overwhelming good.
