Clothing Companies have always been looking for ways to make sure everyone no matter the body type feels included when it comes to fashion, well it looks like ASOS are on the forefront of these developments as their latest update continues to support body inclusivity. Specifically, the online clothing retailer have started including photos of their offerings sported on a variety of body sizes rather than opt for the cheaper and more efficient way of displaying them which is on one individual who is usualy a long way of the average person’s shape!
The update was first mentioned online via Twitter by a lady named Eleanor after she noticed the clothes were being displayed on an array of models of various sizes. You can see her tweet down below.
In response to the change ASOS had this to say: “We’re always testing new technology that can make our customers’ experience even better. In this case, we’re experimenting with AR to show products on different size models, so customers can get a better sense of how something might fit their body shape.”
