The American rapper, songwriter, record producer, record executive, film producer, and actor that is Eminem recently surprised everyone as he secured the number one spot for the highest album-selling artist of 2018.

Specifically, with a total number of 755,027 album sales, Marshall Mathers fended off BTS who achieved 603,307 while third place went to Chris Stapleton who moved a total of 577,287 units. This statistic surprised many, however, only 373,067 sales came from his 10th studio album Kamikaze, while the rest came from fans being inspired to go back and listen to his long-spanning library, consequently meaning he had an added 400,000 album sales on top.

Now, for those who were expecting to see Drake's name make an appearance, he did stun everyone with some crazy stream numbers but most notably XXXTentacion came in third for streams after the late rapper's songs were mournfully listened to by individuals across the world.
